(Mattel, 1957) An original 1957 Mousegetar-Jr. with Music Box by Mattel Inc. Toymakers. The toy is inspired by Jimmie Dodd's guitar on The Mickey Mouse Club television show and features real nylon strings. The turning crank and musical feature have been tested for function, but no longer play the Mickey Mouse Club March. Measuring 13.75" long, the toy comes with its 14"x5.5"x1.75" deep box and displays in very good condition with minor oxidation and light wear. The box is in good condition with scuffs, creases, tears, and fading.
